What we need…
This is an entry level position responsible for processing all release of information (ROI), specifically medical record requests, in a timely and efficient manner ensuring accuracy and providing customers with the highest quality product and customer service. Associate must at all times safeguard and protect the patient’s right to privacy by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the patient’s medical information and that all releases of information are in compliance with the request, authorization, company policy and HIPAA regulations.

What we need…
Under the general instruction of the CPC Management team, the CPC Processor I is responsible for data entry of patient and requestor information which is used to identify whose medical records are being released, who should be billed, and who should receive the requested information. The Processor will also review the information to be released for accuracy and insure that the request is billed properly according to established billing rates. All while insuring that the high standards of quality and 24 hour processing time threshold are maintained.
This is a Remote role (Call Center)
• Full-Time: Mon-Thur 8a-5p CST, Fri 8a-4:30p CST
• Comfortable working in a high-volume production environment.
• Processing medical record requests by taking calls from patients, insurance companies and attorneys to provide medical record status
• Documenting information in multiple platforms using two computer monitors.
• Proficient in Microsoft office (including Word and Excel)

What we need…
The Inpatient Auditing Specialist will respond to consulting and education needs related to coding quality, compliance assessments, external payer reviews, coding education, interim coding management and coding workflow operations reviews. Offer meaningful information to meet customer expectations including identifying and proposing solutions for customer issues. Develop and maintain account relationships through responsiveness and calm, reflective work practices. Work cooperatively with the Data Quality & Coding Compliance leadership and scheduling for optimal services outcome.
Details:
- Location: Remote/Work from home
- Required: 5+ years of facility IP (inpatient) coding experience
- Required: 5+ years of facility IP (inpatient) auditing experience.
- Preferred: CCS, RHIT, or RHIA credentials.
- Preferred: Recent academic medical center or level I trauma center auditing experience.

This position is responsible for answering incoming telephone inquiries from Provider Offices, internal teams, and market line calls. Additionally, this role will be making outbound phone calls and building relationships with assigned medical providers and the Health Plans to obtain required medical charts on behalf of our clients.
